Jonker Sailplanes would like to congratulate the best women glider pilots of the world with their stunning performance Down Under!

We particularly would like to congratulate all the winning girls:

– Mélanie Gadoulet (France) in 18m class.
– Sarah Kelly Arnold (USA) Standard class
– Elena Fergnani (Italy) Club class.

Team JS is especially proud that the best girls selected JS3s in the 18m Class: Mélanie took the gold medal with team mate Anne just a few points behind and Katrin in 3rd position. Well done girls!

Team France with team captain Eric Napoleon took the team cup, with one gold, two silver medals and a bronze. JS is exhilarated to be an official sponsor of the best team in the world. We are looking forward to Team France’s annual SA training camp in cooperation with JS!

The JS pilots were dominating the daily podium. Lisa Turner won the first day in her ASG29 but thereafter it was the JS girls cleaning up. Ailsa McMillan winning four consecutive days was outstanding; Anne Ducarouge and Alena Netusilova both had two day victories.

Travel back home safely, and hopefully we see you in Potchefstroom in the near future!
